About this Hospital Bed Rental Package
Our Hospital Bed Package is a practical and high quality solution that can be installed at short notice and is favoured by the vast majority of our customers returning home from hospital.
A high‑density memory foam mattress is included, providing excellent pressure distribution. Side rails can be fitted on one or both sides. An air mattress and pump are available as an upgrade. Standard single bedding fits the mattress without the need for specialist sheets
Our engineer assembles the equipment, performs a full set of safety checks, and provides a complete demonstration to ensure you are confident using the bed
The initial 28‑day rental period is non‑refundable. After this, the rental cost is £70 per week.

Do you provide bedding?
No, but standard single bed linen fits perfectly
Do I need an air mattress?
Air mattresses are typically recommended for individuals at high risk of pressure sores. Please seek medical advice if you’re unsure.
What is the height range of the bed?
The bed lowers 40cm from the floor (55cm including the mattress) and raises to 80cm (95cm including the mattress)
Do I have to take the equipment for 4 weeks?
The initial 28‑day rental period is non‑refundable, but we can collect the equipment earlier if needed.

Delivery & Installation
Home Care Hire provides safe, functional, and well‑maintained equipment. We ensure safe delivery and installation, and we explain the function and specifications of all equipment during setup. Please note that we cannot provide advice on the clinical suitability of equipment for a particular user.
Refunds cannot be issued outside of our standard rental terms if equipment is deemed unsuitable or remains unused.
Initial Rental Period
The initial rental period for this equipment is 28 days.
This 28‑day period is non‑refundable, although we can collect the equipment earlier if required.
Termination of an Order
The renter agrees to give Home Care Hire 7 days notice of their rental termination date by emailing info@homecarehire.co.uk.
The rental termination date may be set for any time after the initial 28‑day period.
No rental charges apply after the agreed termination date.
Any rental fees already paid for days beyond the termination date will be refunded to the original payment card.
Payment for ongoing rental is taken every subsequent 4 weeks after the initial order.
