The Process of Renting a Hospital Bed

Man installing a rented adjustable hospital bed in London

If you are a caregiver or have a family member with reduced mobility you may have asked yourself “How would I hire a hospital bed in the London area?”

It is generally a relief to have a friend or family member leave the hospital and return to their own home. However, a drawback is a standard domestic setting bed may not offer the flexibility and comfort an electric hospital bed can offer.

It may seem expensive and complicated to have a hospital bed installed in your home, however hiring a hospital bed in London with Home Care Hire is very straightforward.

Delivery & Assembly

One of our engineers will arrive at your property at an agreed time.

We will inspect the space you would like your electric hospital bed installed. Assembly takes about 30 minutes, and we perform a rigorous set of safety checks after installation.

We will then show you how the equipment works. This is straightforward as the bed’s movements are controlled through a simple handset.

This concludes the installation process.

Disassembly and Removal

When you no longer require your hospital bed, simply get in touch with us again via phone or email. We will arrange a convenient time for collection. It takes about 20 minutes to disassemble and remove the bed.
