Home Care Hire Commitment
At Home Care Hire, we are dedicated to providing reliable, patient-centric solutions tailored to meet the needs of individuals at home or in professional care settings. Our Terms & Conditions of Service apply to all rentals made through our website or by phone.
We fully comply with the Online and Distance Selling Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are committed to offering:
- Clear and transparent descriptions of our rental services
- Detailed pricing, including all applicable taxes
- Clear payment options and schedules
- Delivery arrangements and timelines
- Comprehensive cancellation policies and procedures
Rental Agreement Highlights
- The renter must provide a 7-day notice before their rental termination date, which can be set anytime after 28 days from the initial order.
- No rental fees will be charged beyond the agreed termination date.
- Payments are processed every four weeks following the initial order.
- Any payments made in advance for days beyond the termination date will be refunded to the renter’s payment card.
We aim to ensure that your experience with Home Care Hire is as smooth and transparent as possible, providing high-quality care solutions when you need them most.
Ownership
The equipment shall remain the property of Home Care Hire.
We ask that you treat the equipment carefully during the terms of the lease and store it in a smoke-free room.
If a mattress is returned to us with an odour of smoke we will dispose of it and ask the customer to cover the cost.
Operation
The Hirer assumes all responsibility for the safe operation of the equipment and must use the equipment as directed by the lessor.
Any defects during rental are to immediately reported to Home Care Hire. The product is not be used in that case.
Personal Injury
The Lessor will not be held liable for any personal damage or personal injury incurred during the rental of this equipment.
The Hirer accepts that Home Care Hire accepts no liability under any circumstances for any inconvenience, personal injury, loss of profit, business or production, or any similar or other loss whether direct, indirect or consequential howsoever caused
Notice of Termination
The renter agrees to give Home Care Hire 7 days notice of their rental termination date.
The rental termination date can be at any time 28 days after the initial order.
The renter will not be charged any rental after the rental termination date.
Payment is taken every subsequent 4 weeks after the initial order.
Any monies already paid in advance by the renter for days after the rental termination date will be returned to the renter’s payment card.
Collection of Equipment
All equipment will be collected together.
We cannot make separate trips to collect air mattresses or any other equipment.
If Home Care Hire are unable to collect the equipment after agreeing a collection time with the customer, a call-out of 150GBP will be applied. The renter will be liable for any subsequpent rental cost until collection takes place.
