The Oxford Advance folding mobile hoist is one of the most functional and stylish in its class today. It is ideally suited to homecare and small nursing institutions where space sometimes is simply not available.

Delivery and Collection are generally 110GBP per trip and we can we help supply an appropriate sling.

Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist Features

Adjustable Legs

The ‘swan-neck’ leg design allows the lift to get closer to the widest of obstacles including large chairs, bulky commodes and wheelchairs.

Smart Monitor

The Smart Monitor identifies service intervals increasing patient safety. The emergency stop can be seen below the monitor and the hoist also has and emergency lower function.

Multiple Functionality

The Advance’s lifting range ensures it can cope easily with chair to chair, bed to chair, floor to chair and chair to bath transfers.

Push handle

The over-sized push handle enable improved handling and manoeuvrability. The Handset has a clasp that ensures convenient and safe storage.

Push Pad

Foot ‘push pad’ (middle) helps reduce the force needed to initiate forward movement. Controls to open and close the legs can be seen either side of the push pad.

Ultra Compact

The hoist can be folded, transported by one person and it fits in the boot of most cars.

About this Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist

The Oxford Advance mobile hoist has best-in class functionality and is able to reach closer to furniture thanks to its angular leg design. It can assist with many lifting and transfer requirements as it adapts well to a variety of settings, including transferring patients from the floor, a bed, a wheelchair, or a toilet. It will also fit into the trunk of the most family saloon vehicles, making it ideal for taking on vacations or day trips.

At Home Care Hire, all Patient Transfer Equipment is fully compliant with LOLER regulations. We conduct a thorough visual inspection of the equipment bi-annually and load test the Safe Working Load annually. If any item on hire approaches its LOLER inspection date, we arrange servicing promptly to ensure continued safety and compliance.

The Oxford Advance has a Safe Working Load of 155 kg (24 stone). Extensive specifications as well as information on appropriate, and right-sizing slings, can be found in the sections below.
