The Oxford Journey lift is an ultra compact, portable folding stand aid with best-in class functionality. It is compact and lightweight allowing care-givers to manoeuvre in tight spaces and can be folded for easy storage and transportation.

Delivery and Collection are generally 110GBP per trip and we can we help supply an appropriate sling.

Oxford Journey Stand Aid Features

Adjustable Handles

Adjustable cow-horn ensures maximum flexibility. Three options can support a wider range of patient heights and sizes.

Soft Knee Pads

The knee pads are Soft moulded, a design that maximises the comfort of the user while standing upright and in transit.

Removable Foot Tray

By removing the foot tray, the Journey transforms into a rehabilitation aid that allows a patient to fully stand.

Push Handle & Hand Control

The over-sized push handle enable improved handling and manoeuvrability. The Handset has a clasp that ensures convenient and safe storage.

Smart Monitor & Safety

The Smart Monitor identifies service intervals increasing patient safety. The emergency stop can be seen below the monitor and the stand aid also has and emergency lower function.

Adjustable Knee Pads

Kneepads are height adjustable ensure the user feels comfortable and fully supported during transfer.

About this Oxford Journey Stand Aid

The Oxford Journey lift is an ultra compact, portable folding stand aid with best-in class functionality. It is compact and lightweight allowing care-givers to manoeuvre in tight spaces and can be folded for easy storage and transportation. The unique adjustable cow-horn mechanism supports a wider range of patient heights and sizes, allowing your facility to have one lift that meets the needs of many.

At Home Care Hire, all Patient Transfer Equipment is fully compliant with LOLER regulations. We conduct a thorough visual inspection of the equipment bi-annually and load test the Safe Working Load annually. If any item on hire approaches its LOLER inspection date, we arrange servicing promptly to ensure continued safety and compliance.

The Oxford Journey has a Safe Working Load of 155 kg (24 stone). Extensive specifications as well as information on appropriate  slings, can be found in the sections below.
