Our engineer does the full bed installation, a complete set of safety checks, and provides a demonstration of how the equipment works.
The bed has the same range of movement as a hospital bed, making the transition home seamless. All movement options are illustrated on the remote control diagram in the tech specs below.
Utilises a multi-sectioned mattress platform. Designed in accordance with pressure mapping recommendations offering increased comfort when sitting, reduced shear and friction, and minimises the risk of slipping downwards during profiling.
The bed comes as standard with a memory foam mattress, with the option to upgrade to an air mattress.
We always provide a set of wooden side rails.
This is a 3-foot by 7-foot single bed designed to carry a maximum weight of 180kg / 28 stone. Exact dimensions and tech specs can be found below.
The height of the top of a memory foam mattress placed on this bed can be adjusted to a distance from 40cm to 80cm from the floor.
We provide electric beds that are fully compliant with IEC 60601-2-52, a range of standards that define the requirements for the safety and performance of all medical electrical equipment.
The equipment is very easy to use, and we will never leave unless you are 100% comfortable and happy with the equipment.

Will a hospital bed fit through my doorway?
Yes it should, the bed comes in 4 pieces which allows us to deliver and install in any home, even in a small room or house. Please provide us with any information on access limitations and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can hospital beds go upstairs?
Yes, we can install a hospital bed in most rooms in your home. The standard width of our hospital bed is approx. 1.02m (just over 3ft), and the length is 2.19m (just over 7ft).
