Tilit in space

Tilt in Space maintains the angle between seat and backrest while tilting the entire chair backward. Sudden changes in posture are avoided which enable the back to stay in a natural supported position and keep pressure evenly distributed.

Four Way Stretch Fabric

Four way stretch fabric can stretch and recover its original shape in all four directions, thus preventing friction and reducing the risk of pressure sores. This breathable material complies with infection control policies in NHS and Healthcare settings.

Dual Motor

Independent leg and back control means the legs can be raised without reclining the back, great for reading, eating or watching television. It also enables the back to be reclined slightly while being able to keep the feet on the floor. A Single motor chair on the other hand, will automatically raise the footrest when reclining back.

Customisable cushions

The waterfall design of the cushions enables the cushions to be adjusted or removed. This enables a more personalised seating experience. Some customers might prefered the middle cushion completely removed.

The riser function is notable for the smoothnesss and quietness of the movement.

Adjustable Depth and Width

The bracket system enables the interchange of the seat depth from 18 to 20 inches and vice versa. Removeable arm tops enable a change of seat width from 21 to 19 inches.

Measuring the Key Dimensions of a Riser Recliner

1. Seat Height: Allow your feet to rest flat on the floor and measure to the popliteal fossa (back of the knee).

2. Seat Depth: Measure form the popliteal fossa (back of the knee to the rear most point of the bottom.

3. Seat Width: Measure the width of the bottom in a seated position. Add 1 inch to ensure that the skin is not compromised by repeated friction during sitting or standing transfer.
