About this Air Mattress and Pump System
Our full replacement air mattress system is designed for individuals at high risk of pressure ulcer development, providing dynamic, responsive support throughout use.
The mattress is 16 cm deep and contains 18 independent air cells. These cells are continuously alternated by the pump, creating a dynamic cycle that redistributes pressure and reduces the risk of skin breakdown.
The cover is a 4‑way stretch welded PU material, which is:
- Vapour‑permeable
- Water‑resistant
- Easy to wipe clean
- Rated to Crib 5 fire safety standards
For added safety, the mattress includes a 5 cm internal foam layer to provide support in the event of a power outage. An emergency CPR deflation cord is also built in, allowing rapid deflation if urgent medical intervention is required.
Our air mattress system is manufactured in the United Kingdom by Harvest Healthcare. After trialling several systems and listening closely to customer feedback, we have found this model to be the most comfortable, reliable and user‑friendly option for home‑care environments.
