Our Story
Home Care Hire was founded by Owen, who brings over 20 years’ experience in the care‑equipment industry through family connections in Ireland. His background includes managing large nursing‑home fit‑outs — experience that shaped his commitment to sourcing high‑quality, clinically reliable equipment.
The business began in Central London, where Hannah joined as office manager and established the operational foundations that still support the business today. Glen joined soon after, bringing a strong mechanical‑engineering background and a meticulous approach to safe installations.
As demand grew, we expanded our service area, hiring engineers and opening additional depots, allowing us to support families across the South, Midlands and North of England. Along the way, we’ve delivered equipment for medical conferences, hotel fit‑outs and last‑minute capacity for events at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.
Today, we continue to grow with the support of our consultant Sara, who brings extensive experience in NHS procurement and compliance as we prepare to serve the public sector.
