Large 12.5″ rear wheels and solid puncture‑proof tyres give the Ranger excellent traction on grass, gravel and uneven paths, while front, side and rear suspension absorb bumps for a smoother ride. Indoors, its compact 64cm width and responsive joystick control make it easy to manoeuvre through doorways and tight spaces.

The chair folds in seconds using a pushchair‑style mechanism, making it ideal for transport by car or airplane. The lightweight frame (26kg) and removable lithium batteries simplify lifting and storage. Practical onboard storage includes a rear seat pouch, side pockets and an under‑seat bag for personal items.

Armrest wideners allow the seating width to be increased for comfort, while electromagnetic brakes and a fitted seatbelt provide additional safety. Charging is flexible — either directly through the battery pack or via the handset.

Every Ranger hired through Home Care Hire is delivered by a trained engineer who will set up, test and safety‑check the chair before handover. Our standard rental terms are £10 per day or £280 per 4 weeks, with delivery and collection generally £110 each way.
