Delivery and Collection are generally 110GBP per trip and we can we help supply an appropriate sling.

Adjustable Legs

The ‘swan-neck’ leg design allows the lift to get closer to the widest of obstacles including large chairs, bulky commodes and wheelchairs.

Smart Monitor

The Smart Monitor identifies service intervals increasing patient safety. The emergency stop can be seen below the monitor and the hoist also has and emergency lower function.

Multiple Functionality

The Presence’s lifting range ensures it can cope easily with chair to chair, bed to chair, floor to chair and chair to bath transfers.

Push handle

The over-sized push handle enable improved handling and manoeuvrability. The Handset has a clasp that ensures convenient and safe storage.

Push Pad

Foot ‘push pad’ (middle) helps reduce the force needed to initiate forward movement. Controls to open and close the legs can be seen either side of the push pad.

Ultra Compact

The hoist can be folded, transported by one person and it fits in the boot of most cars.

The Oxford Presence is a robust, heavy-duty mobile hoist designed for individuals who require greater lifting capacity and enhanced support during transfers. Often considered a bariatric-capable solution, it is ideal for users who exceed the lifting limits of standard mobile hoists such as the Oxford Advance.

With an impressive safe working load of 227kg (35 stone) and an outstanding lifting range of 440mm to 1910mm, the Presence can comfortably manage a wide variety of patient handling tasks, including transfers from beds, wheelchairs, armchairs, and floor-level positions. Its extended lifting range makes it particularly effective where higher-level or more complex transfers are required.

The powered leg adjustment system allows the hoist to manoeuvre easily around furniture and equipment, while the ergonomic design ensures comfort and confidence for both the user and caregiver. A range of interchangeable spreader bars and cradle options enables the Presence to be tailored to individual moving and handling needs.

For additional safety and reliability, the hoist features integrated safety systems and Smart Monitor diagnostics as standard. Optional powered cradle and digital weighing scale functions further enhance clinical functionality where regular monitoring and assessment are required.

All Oxford Presence hoists supplied by Home Care Hire are maintained in full accordance with LOLER regulations. Equipment undergoes comprehensive visual inspections every six months and annual load testing to ensure continued safety, compliance, and peace of mind throughout the hire period.
